A Familiar Test Can be a Non-Threatening Exercise
You may be familiar with the Thomas Test, which assesses passive stiffness in the one and two joint hip flexors. We will often use this as an assessment for more local or segmental information after we have done our more global assessments.
This test also can make a great Level "A" exercise. There are some key elements to getting the most out of it as an exercise, so be sure to pay attention to the nuances I share with you.
This exercise has the potential to be one of those exercises/positions/postures that a client might do multiple times a day when their chronic condition becomes acute. This might be one more reason for your clients to love you 😉
